Bacteriophages and their role and importance in the prevention of healthcare-associated infections in medical organizations
The article presents modern data on morphology of bacteriophages, describes lytic and lysogenic ways of development of bacteriophages, particularly virulent and temperate bacteriophages. Also refers to the specificity of bacteriophages in terms of their effectiveness in combating infections associated with health care, presents the main provisions are described in Methodical recommendations 3.5.1.0101-15 "The Biological method of disinfection with the use of bacteriophages". The article also contains information on the stability of bacteriophage to the main disinfecting agents. The article concludes with insights about the prospects for further use and study of bacteriophages as therapeutic and prophylactic means intended for carrying out biological disinfection.
Key words: bacteriophages, virulent and temperate bacteriophages, disinfectants, biological disinfection, infections associated with health care.

Evidence-based disinfection technologies
In the review article the authors investigate theory and practice of disinfection and sterilization, insect control and rodent control as well as its efficacy and effectiveness according to the principle of evidence-based medicine. The problems of applicability and competence of the term "evidence-based medicine" in the field of disinfection are also discussed. The authors emphasize diversity of the objects and interventions which influences estimation of safety and effectiveness by means of epidemiologic studies. The article also contains several examples of descriptive, analytic and experimental epidemiologic studies dedicated to the different aspects of disinfection and describes the features of its organization and design. Moreover, the authors discuss possibility of systematic reviews of original publications in accordance with the disinfection’s sphere of interests. The routine practice of systematic reviews in disinfection is not widely used in Russia nowadays. The article demonstrates Russian and foreign ranking systems which can be applied in clinical guidelines. These systems clearly identify strength (category) of recommendations according to the type of epidemiologic study performed.
Key words: disinfection, sterilization, pest control, evidence, clinical recommendations, guideline, epidemiologic studies.

The new, unusual and seldom found subjects to medical disinsection from residential and production rooms of Moscow
From 2013 to 2016 laboratory of biocontrol ILTs SUE MGTsD the new, unusual and seldom found types the synanthropic insects found in residential and production rooms of the city of Moscow come to light. Some of them are the significant subjects to medical disinsection having sanitary and epidemiologic value; other types thanks to unusual shape need exact identification for understanding of lifecycle and assessment of a possibility of the done harm. Several types are for the first time specified for the territory of Russia as probably their resettlement as a result of an invasion in the territory of our country only begins, but, judging by a large number of finds from the different districts of Moscow, occurs successfully. We want to pay special attention of the specialists working in the field of medical entomology for similar cases of an introduction such the synanthropic types on Wednesday of the Moscow rooms with the subsequent resettlement of again formed populations for development of effective measures of fight, in some cases these insects, necessary for destruction. In the stated below characteristic of types we tried to analyse possible risks of further distribution of new insects as the synanthropic organisms living in the rooms used by the person, their sanitary and epidemiologic value and the harm done to food inventories, equipment of rooms and furnishings. Keywords: invasive types, introduction, synanthropic insects, sanitary and epidemiologic value, medical disinsection.

Ways of Organization of Professional Knowledge and Skills of Medical and Pharmaceutical Workers in the Organization and Running of Disinfectological Activities
The monitoring results of the training level of 1789 medical and 92 pharmaceutical workers of 199 medical and pharmaceutical organizations that have been involved the last 10 years in the implementation of disinfections and sterilization measures have been presented. The developed and implemented differentiated programs and methods of active learning have significantly improved the training of doctors from 62,9±1,82 % to 91,2±2,3 %, nurses from 54,5 % to 78,7±2,8 % and, respectively, 44,6±3,2 % to 90,2±2,8 % of pharmaceutical workers. The quality and efficacy of anti-epidemic measures in health care organizations have been improved. The indicators of the air hospital environment shatters decreased from 18,1 % to 0,65 %, and non-sterile medical instruments from 5,4 to 0,062 cases per 1000 samples tested.
Key words: health care institutions, disinfectology events, the level of training, knowledge, skills, health workers.
