Monitoring of the market of disinfecting means on the example of Sverdlovsk region

In the work are given the results of monitoring of the market of disinfecting means in the territory of Sverdlovsk region, analyzed and assorted the portfolio of medical-prophylaxis statements purchased these agents, calculated the coefficients of the width and completeness of the nomenclature of disinfecting means. By the methods of pharmaco-economical analysis is determined the disinfecting means, for purchase of which the regional statements expended 80 % of the common sum of separated budget.

Disinfectant microbial resistance – associated with antibiotic cross-resistance

The research to study the ability of Escherichia coli АТСС 25922 and Enterobacter aerogenes ATCC 13048 to acclimate to six different commercial disinfectants was carried out. The microorganisms were shown to become more resistant to the disinfectants for one to three weeks, with their resistance depending on the type and the number of biocidal components constituting an agent. The acquired disinfectant resistance maintained for two weeks against a background of the active growth of the cultures on the agents-free media. The antibiotic cross-resistance was identified in all disinfectant-resistant strains. Spectra and levels of cross-resistance of E. coli and E. aerogenes were similar though individual in most. The disinfectant-resistant strains were resistant to doxycycline, chloramphenicol and tetracycline, whereas gentamycin, imepenem, kanamycin, carbenicillin and polymyxin cross-resistance was identified in neither of the test cultures.

Susceptible septic infection to disinfectant (preliminary results of the regional reference laboratories)

The evaluation of the sensitivity of 44 septic infection strains, which relate to 11 species isolated from patients and the external environment of health care institutions, the 13 disinfectants. Stability and incomplete sensitivity most frequently occur among K. pneumoniae and P. aeruginosa. The greatest resistance of microorganisms is awarded to disinfectants, which are based on HR. Resistant to disinfectants strain was more common among microorganisms isolated from hospital environment, as compared with isolated from patients.

Study of Biocide Activity of Disinfection Preparation Based on Silver Nanoclusters

There was studied a biocide activity of disinfection preparation, based on the ultradispersal systems of silver directed against non-sporogenous bacteria: Yersinia pestis strain EV (Research Institute of Epidemiology and Hygyene), Staphylococcus aureus strain 906, and spore-forming bacteria Bacillus anthracis strain STI-1 in spore form.

Mold fungus in the air of Medical and preventive treatment institutions (MPI) and contemporary technologies of antifungal treatment

Present research was performed with the purpose of working through new technologies of disinfection treatment of the rooms with high mycotic infection risk. In the course of research is established that fungus Aspergillus is about 85 % of microbic aerosol. The fungus Aspergillus concentration depends on functional purpose of rooms, season, parameters of microclimate and repetition of technologicals processes. The comparative evaluation of different technologys of disinfection treatment reveals the greater efficiency of complex approach using the last stage of the photocatalytic disinfection.

Decrease of permethrin insecticide activity for human lice

In 2009–2010 permethrin-susceptibility of the body and head lice, collected from homeless people in Moscow, was studied. Shown, that resistance to permethrin is widely spread. Lethal concentrations (LC99) (0,4– > 1,0 % and 0,00020– > 1,0 % for body and head lice, respectively) in most cases were higher than recommended to practice use concentrations (0,1–0,2 %). After dipping into water solutions of permethrin (0,0001–1,0 %) body lice females were available to lay viable eggs. The permethrin ovicide activity was low.

Microcapsulated of water suspension on the basis for chlorpirifose with wide spectrum of activity

It is developed a new insecticide mixture in the form of water microcapsulated suspension on the basis of chlorpirifose. Introduction of synergist into the components is allowed to increase its target effectivity and its water base to decrease its danger for warm-blooded animals. This agent is recommended for wide circle of everyday insects.

Hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome – ways of infection and protection measures

Observance of personal hygiene and some rules of behavior in wood and forest planting and on other territories of natural seats of fire remain the effective measure of prophylactic. A man is infected with hantavirus on the territory of natural success. The probability of illness is extremally high in the places of accumulation of rodent, where very high the virus of contamination by virus of objects of extremal medium.

With the help of means of the individual help and measures of peroral activity, it is possible prevent activity of penetration of hantaviruses into the organism of a body. By the air-drop, alimentary or contact ways and thus reduce the possibility of infecting of a man. Personal hygiene in connection with the observance of rules of behavior in the forest, forest park and other landcsapes of natural seat.

Some medical and biologic properties of new ferment-containing, wound healing and antiseptic preparation

It is worked out the technology of production of new ferment-containing and wound healing, antiseptic and are investigate its allergen properties. After preparation is not remarked increasing of intensity its anaphylactogenic activity. Weak allergic reactions are noted by animals, having preparation by the therapeutic manner. By introduction of permitting doses by parental method. It is uncovered the capacity on this preparation to induce the reaction of hypersensivity of slowed type as well as to develop the immune complexes during multiple parenteral insertion. It is expedient to study the preparation in order to determine it as a quantity it as effective wound healing device.
