Regulatory and legal requirements concerning the circulation of disinfectants on the territory of the Russian Federation

The necessity of development and actualization of the Uniform requirements for safety of disinfectants’ circulation within the framework of the EEU is justified by member countries signing a number of international agreements in the field of "Sanitary measures", which regulate the controlled products including disinfectants. Due to this fact, the development of uniform scientific and methodical approaches to organization and carrying out a complex disinfectology expert assessment of disinfectants is extremely important, since it will guarantee safety of free transportation of goods to the territory of Eurasia, as well as its high quality and epidemiological efficiency for both medical institutions and other locations. This article addresses issues concerning legal, regulatory and methodical maintenance activities connected to release of disinfectants into circulation. Various legislative and regulatory documents governing the circulation of disinfectants are mentioned. The requirements for organization and carrying out laboratory testing of disinfectants are given. Practical experience of carrying out a complex disinfectology expert assessment by the Scientific Research Disinfectology Institute is described. The analysis of the EEU register of registered disinfectants is presented.
Keywords: disinfectants, laboratory testing, disinfection expert evaluation, normative legal documents, research and methodological study base, EEU register.

Сomparative sensitivity study disinfectants of different microorganisms and viruses on the surface of removable dentures

The article presents data on comparative sensitivity study of the microbiota of the dentures to the action of disefectants MD 530 and "Avansept". The main components of the microbial biofilm of the dental prosthesis were representatives of the" stabilizing " microflora (lactobacilli, oral streptococci, weilonelles) and herpesviruses, less often anaerobic microorganisms. The most sensitive to the recommended in the user mode of disinfection MD 530 drugs and "Avansept"" was parodontopathogenic bacteria from the group of anaerobes, the most resistant – yeast-like fungi of the genus Candida, lactobacilli and oral streptococci. Herpes viruses (VG), especially herpes virus type 1, showed high sensitivity to the drug "Avansept" (in 78 % of cases 100 % mortality of viruses), the most resistant to the drugs were herpes virus types 2, 4, 6.
Keywords: dentures, disinfectants, microflora, anaerobes, yeast-like fungi, viruses, molecular genetic research.

The susceptibility to disinfectants of Сandida species isolated from patients in hospitals in Minsk

In this study the sensitivity of clinical isolates of Candida spp. to 10 disinfectants, registered in Belarus and commonly used in hospitals, was investigated. 5 of 10 disinfectants, including chemicals based on polyhexamethylene guanidine hydrochloride or glycolic acid were ineffective in experimental conditions. It was observed that 45.5 % of fungi of the genus Candida were resistant to the analyzed disinfectant compounds. 8.7 % of studied clinical isolates of fungi were found to have a resistance to several disinfectants of various chemical groups. Both interspecific and intraspecific heterogeneity of Candida spp. in the levels of disinfectant susceptibility were determined. The biggest number of cases of resistance to disinfectants in this study occurred in the isolated strains of C. glabrata. It should be noted that all disinfectants in the study were effective against the reference culture of C. albicans ATCC 10231.
Keywords: mycosis, candidiasis, disinfectants, resistance, sensitivity, susceptibility.

Perfection of the technique and assessment of the effectiveness of disinfection of hospital linen with thermochemical method

The effectiveness of disinfectants intended for the disinfection of hospital linen significantly increases with the use of modern processing technologies. The work on the evaluation and research of disinfectants should be carried out taking into account recommendations for their further application, and also in conditions as close as possible to the real ones. The paper presents an improved method for evaluating the effectiveness of laundry disinfection in machine washing and the results of its testing in laboratory conditions. The regimes are developed and the advantages in the disinfection of laundry with a thermochemical method are shown.
Keywords: laundry disinfection, microorganisms, laundry decontamination evaluation procedure, thermochemical method.

Study on efficacy of means on the basis of chitin synthesis inhibitor or control of mosquito larvae with the use of unmanned aerial vehicles "ODONATA AGRO"

To control the larvae of different mosquito species, tests of domestic formulation based on the chitin synthesis inhibitor diflubenzuron ("Dizuran" 20 % SC) were carried out in natural and artificial waterways of the Krasnodar Krai with the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UMAV) "ODONATA AGRO". Simultaneously with the study on efficacy of the larvicide, its effect on zooplankton and hydrobionts was evaluated. Based on these criteria, concentrations for practical use are recommended. The preparative form of the "Dizuran" allows using it by ultra-low-volume spraying with the help of UMAV "ODONATA AGRO", which increases the productivity of treatments 2–3-fold compared to ground spraying and reduces their cost.
Keywords: mosquito larvae, unmanned aerial vehicles "ODONATA AGRO", "Dizuran", zooplankton, hydrobionts.
